The battle is not yours

Today, our students heard from Mr. Stevens, our Middle and High School Principal, during our chapel sessions. He referenced our theme verse, Romans 8:31, and discussed how often we try to tackle everything on our own, which is like continuing to load our backpacks with heavy books. He shared the story from 2 Chronicles 20, where Jehoshaphat faced the challenge of confronting three armies. Despite his fear, Jehoshaphat "set his face to seek the Lord." We encourage you to read the passage to see how God protected Jehoshaphat and his people.
