DECEMBER EVENTS & REMINDERS
Our Middle and High School students will have the opportunity to serve our community this Christmas season by collecting gifts for local families through our partnership with the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree ministry. We’ll be gathering gifts throughout the month of December, all the way up to Christmas Break.
More details will be shared soon—thank you in advance for helping us spread Christ’s love in a meaningful way this season.
Each year, our hallways come to life with rows of Christmas stockings—one for every student and staff member. It’s a simple but meaningful tradition that gives us the chance to encourage one another with handwritten notes, kind words, or small treats tucked inside.
The stockings will be hanging throughout the month of December, all the way up until Christmas Break. It’s a wonderful way to spread joy and remind each other how much we’re valued during this season.
Our students are kicking off a fun Christmas tradition by decorating trees within their grade-level groups (6, 7, 8, 9/10, and 11/12). Each group has already chosen a unique theme and will work together to gather supplies and bring their vision to life.
Once finished, the decorated trees will be displayed throughout HCA for everyone to enjoy. Our Elementary classes will even get to vote on their favorites! The winning trees will be announced during our Christmas Chapel on December 18th. It’s a great way to celebrate creativity, teamwork, and a little friendly competition this season!
Middle Schoolers—save the date!
Join us after school on Friday, December 5th from 2:45–4:00 PM for our Christmas Sweater Dance Party!
We’ll have music, games, a dance battle, raffles, and plenty of fun activities. The student store will also be open with snacks and drinks—everything just $1, so bring a little cash!
Come ready to have a great time and kick off the Christmas season together!
Get ready for Christmas Spirit Week, happening December 15–18! Start planning your outfits now:

We can’t wait to see all the creativity and festive spirit you bring!
Join us on Thursday, December 18th at 1:30 PM for our HCA Christmas Chapel. This special gathering is an opportunity for our school community to pause in the midst of a busy season and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas—celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
We look forward to worshiping together and centering our hearts on the hope He brings.
Coffee & Conversations
Each Thursday and Friday morning between 8:30–10:30am, Mr. Stevens is available to meet with you in the cafe here at the school. These meetings are designed to provide space for open conversation: a chance for me to hear your heart, listen to your hopes for your student, gather your feedback, and answer any questions you may have. It will also be a chance for me to share about how God is moving and growing our Middle and High School programs and to invite you to be a part of it all.
Student Support is NOT AVAILABLE on the following dates: (due to staff meetings) MONDAY- 9/29, 10/27, 11/24, 1/26, 2/23, 3/30, 4/27, 5/18 THURSDAY- 10/2, 11/6, 12/4, 1/8, 2/5, 3/5, 4/2, 5/7

In order to receive a laptop, we need to have received the signed agreement form (see below). We will also have copies for you to take home and review at Mrs. Dickinson's station at the Meet and Greet.
