Faith: Trusting the One who can see
Mrs. Stratton, our wonderful director of the Learning Success Center (LSC), spoke at chapel to reflect on the final character trait focus of the academic year: faith. Throughout April, our community explored what it means to truly trust God. Mrs. Stratton reminded us that trust and faith go hand in hand—we often place our faith in what we can see, but real faith calls us to trust beyond our senses. As Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
Mrs. Stratton beautifully summarized, “Faith is not being able to see but trusting the One who can.” She encouraged us to fully trust God and His word, remembering His promises. She illustrated how we can live out our faith daily—trusting that Jesus is with us in every moment, guiding and loving us.
